Venue licence

Updated 12 September 2026

Draft. This text is written to match how the site actually works, but has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Company details are missing because the business is not registered yet.

This will be the licence attached to a subscription. It settles one thing: you may run our quiz for your guests, and it goes no further than that.

What you may do

Run a quiz in the venue named on the subscription, for your own guests, as often as you like. On a screen, printed, or both.

Copy answer sheets for the teams playing that night, and adapt the pack for your own use, for instance by skipping a round.

What you may not do

Pass packs to another venue, including a friendly pub or a second location not on the subscription. That is what the chain licence is for.

Publish questions and answers online, resell them, or present them as your own material.

Music and images

You play the music from your own source. We supply a track list and a playlist, never audio files. Playing music in your venue needs the usual performance licences, the same as your background music.

The images in the picture round are licensed for use within the pack. Don't use them separately, for instance on your own posters or social media.

Term and ending

The licence runs while your subscription runs. If it ends, you may keep using packs you already downloaded in your own venue, but you get no new ones and the online archive closes.
